On 18 January,, BIOPATH’s board member Prof. Jan Bebbington will talk about the new biodiversity standard by the Global Reporting Initiative  - GRI 304

The Global Reporting Initiative has a new standard (GRI 13 – to come into effect for reporting after 1/1/24) that provides guidance on reporting expectations for Agriculture, Aquaculture and Fisheries sectors. This standard covers a number of topic areas, including biodiversity and ecosystem related topics. In addition, in the middle of November it is anticipated that the GRI will release for public consultation its topic standard on biodiversity (GRI 304). These standards (existing and proposed) will codify expectations of what ‘good’ corporate reporting will entail.
