BIOPATH Deep dive: Multiple values of biodiversity
Welcome to a BIOPATH Deep Dive workshop on multiple values of biodiversity, led by Marie Stenseke, Johanna Alkan Olsson and Mine Islar.
The aim of the workshop is to explore the different perspectives on values, aligning with IPBES and the Global Biodiversity Framework.
Key questions that will be discussed:
– How to capture the multiple ways in which humans see and value biodiversity and nature’s contributions to people/ecosystem services?
– How to bridge between different valuation methods, including between quantitative and qualitative measures?
This first deep dive is for BIOPATH researchers only. A second workshop with researchers and partners is planned for December.

How can companies measure and reduce their impact on biodiversity?
This event is an LU Land breakfast seminar, organised in collaboration with Mistra BIOPATH.
EU's new Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) requires companies to report on their impact on biodiversity. But how can companies measure their impact to meet the new directives?
William Sidemo Holm och Carla Coelho, both postdocs at the Centre for Environmental and Climate Science at Lund University and engaged in Mistra BIOPATH, will discuss the importance of CSRD in the preservation of biodiversity and the challenges associated with measuring the impact of companies on biodiversity.
